Demand forecasts for each market are compiled at the total industry volume (TIV) level, factoring in recent sales trends and major near-term drivers. These include macro-economic conditions and sector-specific factors, the impact of which varies both between and within markets at different times. Each brand’s share is then calculated based on recent or imminent product actions, as well as competitor activity.
