The San Francisco 49ers are putting their undefeated 5-0 record on the line against the Washington Commanders on Monday night.
San Francisco’s offense is bolstered by the dual-threat ability of tight end George Kittle, who is not only a savage blocker, but also leads the team in receiving touchdowns while sitting just behind wide receiver Mike Evans in receptions and receiving yards.
Kittle, a seven-time Pro Bowler, is doing all of that after recovering from a torn Achilles he suffered during the 2025 season.
While in recovery mode, the star tight end was able to play cheerleader for his wife, Claire, who made her debut in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.
Claire Kittle Poses for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit
In an interview with Sports Illustrated over Super Bowl weekend in February, the 49ers player shared his initial thoughts on the images for Claire’s bikini photoshoot.
“Fabulous. Absolutely fabulous,” he said of the campaign, which was meant to highlight the role of a WAG (a term meaning “wife and girlfriend” that refers to the partners of professional athletes) as a “symbol of influence, independence, and impact” in culture, per a statement from the outlet.
Kittle, meanwhile, highlighted her appearance in the issue on social media.
Kittle said he was “so excited” when he saw his wife’s cover.
“The only negative is that it came out at 5 a.m. this time, so we woke up to look at it,” he joked. “She’s just crushing it. People are like, ‘Oh wow, Claire is cooler than you.’ I’ve been saying it for 10 years, that my wife is cooler than me. Now you guys are starting to believe me.”
The NFL star’s wife made it clear she’s much more than just a WAG.
“I think it’s just owning who you are, being a confident woman, and we all grow and we all come into ourselves as we age and we find out who we’re going to be and we’re just supporting our partners along the way and they’re supporting us right back,” she told People.
“So many of these girls are in the same boat, so it’s really fun to be here and meet them and mingle,” she added.
San Francisco and Washington kick off at 8:15 p.m. ET on ESPN.
