If you’ve been paying attention, Timex has consistently released some of the coolest and most surprising watches across the past decade, a trend that certainly continues with the latest fast-selling Noah x Timex offering.

After partnering last summer on the Noah x Timex Lighthouse Watch, the hyped NYC fashion house (the driving force behind collaborations with the likes of Converse and Barbour) once again puts its uniquely preppy, nautical spin on a buzzed-about timepiece. “The Noah x Timex Boatswain Watch captures the spirit of life on the water through thoughtful details rather than overt statements,” Timex notes.

The Noah x Timex Boatswain Watch cracks the code as far as affordability and sharp style is concerned, going on sale at a mere $228 while boasting an elegant 31mm oval case offered in gold-plated and stainless steel editions. The gold-plated offering arrives on a textured black leather strap, while the steel offering is accented by a textured brown leather strap. Unsurprisingly, the collaboration is already sold out as of now through Noah, but other Noah x Timex watches, like this year’s Noah x Timex Moonphase, can be found on sites like Chrono24.

Featuring collaborative logos in the center of its dial and sleek Roman numerals at each hour marking, the limited-edition timepiece is powered by a signature Timex quartz movement, as the American watchmaker calls the prep-inspired modern classic “familiar yet unexpected.” The shoreline and the ocean are once again key inspiration for the two partners, Timex said. GQ calls the watch “perhaps their most elegant watch yet,” harkening back to the 2024 debut of the Noah x Timex Sun and Moon Watch, now a collector’s classic.

“Inspired by the slower pace of life at sea, Noah and Timex come together to introduce the Noah x Timex Boatswain Watch, a nautical-inspired timepiece that brings maritime details together with classic watch design,” Timex added. Mineral glass crystal finishes off the dial, while the center of the dial is encircled by what the company calls a crisp oval rope motif, “creating a subtle reference to life at sea without overwhelming the design.”

The oval design calls to mind cues from Patek Philippe, making it far from the only Timex watch to draw on Patek Philippe inspiration in recent months. For now, intrepid collectors will have to keep their eyes peeled for a shot at the latest Noah x Timex creation on the secondary market.
