Why We Love This Deal
If you’ve been shopping for deck storage but loathe the plastic look and don’t want to take up extra space with a storage shed, a storage bench is the way to go. It’s a more versatile choice because it also offers seating, and if you can find one made from natural wood, it’ll be nicer-looking than resin or aluminum. You won’t see many sales on these benches, and they’re usually more expensive, but there’s one at Walmart for under $100 right now that also ships for free.
This beautiful Zimtown Cedar Patio Storage Bench Loveseat is now $90 at Walmart, a small discount off its regular price of $100. This easy-to-assemble bench comfortably seats two adults and can hold a generous amount—enough for patio cushions, lawn equipment, yard toys, and more.

What Shoppers Should Know

- Weight: 33 pounds
- Seat Max Weight: 441 pounds
- Wood: Cedar

For starters, the value on this model is excellent—if you look online for premium cedar, you’ll find options running up into the multiple hundreds of dollars.
While some may prefer the water-resistance of non-plastic options, natural cedar holds other advantages. Cedar’s natural oils can keep certain bugs and pests at bay (especially of the fabric-eating kind). The oils are also highly resistant to rot and moisture, performing much better than other softwood options. This may also mean fewer musty odors, too.
Then there’s the aesthetics of this bench. Warm wood has a look to it that says furniture and not cheap.
What Shoppers Are Saying
One shopper noted that this is “perfect” for their small front porch. “It smells good and holds my gardening tools and our yard and bug sprays easily. It’s as beautiful as it is functional,” they said. They also mentioned possibly adding a wood seal to further weatherproof it—a good idea for longevity—but they decided not to because they love the natural color of the cedar.
Another, who called it “attractive and sturdy,” said that they much preferred the look of this one to plastic and enjoyed the spacious storage.
With a markdown like this from Walmart, this storage bench is likely to sell out again, as it has sold out a handful of times in the months that we’ve been tracking it. Don’t miss your chance to pick one up.
