The surging New England Patriots are in action on Thursday night as they take on the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.
New England has won three straight games to improve to 4-2, while the Bears got back in the win column in Week 6 to also move to 4-2 on the season.
This will officially mark star wide receiver A.J. Brown’s third game as a Patriot. He sustained an injury in Week 1 and didn’t return from injured reserve until last week, when he had a troubling performance with multiple drops.
Still, Brown is expected to remain a centerpiece of the Patriots’ offense after the team acquired him earlier this year from the Philadelphia Eagles. The move also reunited him with his former coach, Mike Vrabel, something Brown seemed ecstatic about.
However, being traded to the Patriots wasn’t the best thing that happened to Brown in 2026.
Brown Got Married This Year
Back in May, before the NFL season began and before he joined the Patriots, Brown officially tied the knot with his now-wife, Kelsey Nicole Riley, at Montage Laguna Beach in California.
The oceanfront wedding drew more than 200 guests and featured several of Brown’s former teammates and other NFL players, including DeVonta Smith, Saquon Barkley, DK Metcalf and Deebo Samuel.
“[Marriage] means tying the knot and tying the covenant with God; me, her and God and making this thing official,” Brown told People, which first shared the news. “It means the world, to be honest, that someone I care about deeply and love, to make her my wife and give her my last name, it means everything.”
The couple have a son together, Arthur Juan Brown Jr., who was born in September 2022 and named after his father.
