Cadillac Quietly Updates 2027 Escalade U.S. Pricing

Cadillac phased out the 2026 Escalade to make room for the 2027 model year. The most affordable variant now starts at $102,700, which is $10,600 over the price of the most affordable variant last year. However, it does make sense, because the automaker discontinued the base Escalade for both standard and long-wheelbase variants.

This means that the lineup now starts with the 2WD Luxury trim. With fees and taxes included, it is a $105,595 deal. For the money, customers get the luxury SUV equipped with the huge 55-inch Horizon Display, stretching from pillar to pillar, offered as standard.

A head-up display and the Power SkyGlass roof are also on the menu, along with the AKG Studio 21-speaker audio system. The driver and front passenger sit in front bucket seats with 12-way power adjustment, offered as standard for the Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport models.

Furthermore, their SUV is equipped with the Magnetic Ride Control, an Electronic Limited-Slip Differential (eLSD), and rides on 22-inch nine-spoke alloy wheels with a polished finish.

The SUV is powered by the 6.2-liter engine, which produces 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. A ten-speed automatic transmission puts the power down through the rear wheels in the base-trim model, or through all four corners if the buyer is willing to pay $3,000 more.

Upper the range sits the Escalade Sport 4WD, which kicks off at $109,195. For the extra money, it gets Gloss Black bodyside moldings with matching Gloss Black roof-mounted side rails. This variant rides on 22-inch alloy wheels with Dark Android and Low Gloss Finish.

The Escalade Platinum Luxury starts at $127,095 and adds the Platinum interior trim, power open-and-close doors, and the 38-speaker AKG Studio Reference sound system with Dolby Atmos. The powertrain remains unchanged.

The Platinum Sport sits at the top of the non-V range and can be purchased for a starting price of $127,595. Power-retractable assist steps with LED perimeter lighting and  22-inch 18-Spoke alloy wheels with After Midnight finish are part of the plan.

New for 2027 is the Sandstone paint, while the Magnus Metal Frost and Aegean Stone are discontinued. The Cadillac Digital Key app is added (though it requires an over-the-air update to function), and trailer tire pressure monitoring is newly available. The Onyx Lite appearance package is now offered on Sport models.

Cadillac dropped the performance air intake, the Interior Protection package, all-weather floor mats, and removed the Onyx Lite package from the Escalade-V. Speaking of which, the range-topping Escalade starts at $172,195. For the money, customers get the 6.2-liter supercharged V8, which pumps out 682 horsepower and 653 pound-feet of torque.

A special-edition 2027 Cadillac Escalade-V 125th Anniversary Collector Series debuts with carbon fiber exterior accents, Santorini Blue stitching and expectedly, a higher price tag: $239,000. General Motors will only build 252 such examples.
