Jeep Gladiator Is Finally Getting the Feature That Customers Have Always Wanted

It is finally happening. Jeep has officially answered one of the most common aftermarket requests from truck enthusiasts by introducing the limited-production 2027 Jeep Gladiator 35-inch Tire Launch Edition, which comes with upgraded off-road credentials and bronze accents that set it apart from its siblings.

Owners had to seek out larger tires via aftermarket shops, often putting their warranties at risk in order to make their off-roaders more off-road capable. But now, things are about to change as the new package will give the Gladiator a more aggressive stance. The new package delivers the heavy-duty upgrades that they have always wanted right off the factory floor.

Available for orders across North America on Willys, Rubicon, and Rubicon X trim levels, this package pairs enhanced mechanicals with exclusive visual details. But the best part of the plan is squeezing massive 35-inch rubber onto the midsize truck, which requires structural adjustments to maintain handling and durability.

Jeep completely reworked the chassis and drivetrain by integrating several key components. They came up with a factory-engineered one-inch suspension lift to provide clearance for the new larger tires. Highline fender flares and wheel-flare extensions prevent tire rub during extreme wheel articulation.

Furthermore, they paired 4.56 final-drive ratios with a full-time 4:1 low-range transfer case to restore low-speed crawling precision and throttle responsiveness. The 35-inch Tire Package includes heavy-duty Dana solid axles and upgraded performance brakes.

Riding on the 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with the all-new 35-inch all-terrain tires, the Jeep Gladiator 35-inch Tire Launch Edition raises the bar for the truck’s factory Trail Rated capability. The Gladiator now comes with an impressive 12.9 inches of ground clearance, an approach angle of 46.7 degrees, a breakover angle of 23.3 degrees, and a departure angle of 26.7 degrees.

To make the special edition instantly recognizable, Jeep came up with bronze accents. The 17-inch wheels sport a bronze finish, matching the bronze front tow hooks and the exclusive bronze Jeep badging, accompanied by bespoke hood, side, and tailgate graphics.

The Rubicon and Rubicon X trims add extra vent graphics, while the range-topping Rubicon X package further includes a sculpted Jeep performance hood and unique side decals.

Customers can already go ahead and order the 2027 Jeep Gladiator 35-inch Tire Launch Edition anywhere across North America. Jeep hasn’t disclosed the pricing of the new package, but if the XTREME 35-Inch Tire Package available for the Wrangler is anything to go by, customers should expect to pay around $4,495 on top of the price of each trim that it comes with.

The 2027 Jeep Gladiator Willys starts at $49,040, the Gladiator Rubicon costs $55,700, while the Rubicon X is a $64,120 deal.
