If you like Star Fox 64 successors, then boy have we got a game for you! Following the seemingly successful release of Wild Blue Skies on Xbox earlier this year, FUR Squadron Phoenix is about to make its Xbox debut too.
This is a game that first released on Steam back in February, and it’s got a “Mostly Positive” rating on that platform based on just 32 reviews. It seems the game hasn’t been that popular on PC, so here’s hoping the Xbox release will entice a few more sales when it arrives for Series X and S on December 6th.
As you can see, FUR Squadron Phoenix features a roguelite campaign, and its most recent 2.0 update in August added an all‑new story campaign with Full Range Combat missions compared to the original PC release.
We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on this one in December – you can check out more details and screenshots below.
Embark on an action-packed adventure in this on-rails space shooter. As a pilot in training, you’ll battle in strange virtual worlds. Master your ship, upgrade your skills, and protect the federation from an imminent threat. Are you ready for the challenge?
