Xbox Is Giving Away 25 Free Games To ‘Eligible’ PC Buyers Until The End Of 2026

Update []:

You can see an apparent list of all the games in the video below:

Original Story: Fancy getting your hands on 25 Xbox games at no extra charge? Well, if you’re an “eligible” buyer of a Windows 11 PC between November 2nd and the end of December 2026, that’s exactly what you’ll find up for grabs.

The only reason we know about this is because of a post on the Xbox Ally Reddit community earlier today, in which a screenshot was shared of the “25 Years of Xbox Bundle” along with the ability to claim it.

For whatever reason, it seems the bundle has become available slightly early for certain people:

Looking into this a bit further, the official Windows Blog recently explained what to expect from the offer, highlighting that games such as Gears of War: Reloaded and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition are part of the deal.

However, the catch is that the bundle is only available for people in the United States, and the terms and conditions link doesn’t go anywhere at the moment – so it seems impossible to know who’s eligible until November 2nd rolls around.

“There’s never been a better time to start playing games on Windows. And to celebrate 25 years of XBOX, starting this November, eligible Windows 11 PC purchased in the US can claim a collection of 25 fan-favorite games at no additional cost. The collection includes $500+ worth of games, such as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition, Minecraft Dungeons, Gears of War: Reloaded, and more. Once claimed, the PC versions of the games are linked to your Microsoft account and you can play them on any compatible Windows PC, with select titles also playable on XBOX Series X|S consoles with XBOX Play Anywhere. Note that some devices eligible for the offer cannot play all the games in the collection7.”

“25-game digital bundle; no discs included. Some devices eligible for this offer do not support all 25 games. Some games cannot be played on Xbox consoles and are subject to age-based content restrictions. Valid only with purchase of select Windows devices from participating U.S. retailers from 11/2/26 through 12/31/26, while supplies last. Offer will be available to claim on your eligible device in the Microsoft Store app no later than 11/30/26. Must activate your PC and claim the digital game bundle to your Microsoft account by 2/12/27. See aka.ms/XBOXbundle on 11/2/26 for game compatibility, system requirements, ratings, and full offer terms.”

Again, we’re not sure why some people are already available to claim the bundle on their PCs and ROG Xbox Ally X20s, and when it comes to the Ally in particular, it’s not showing up for everyone who bought the new handheld.

If you’re interested in this bundle and in the market for a new Windows 11 PC or handheld like the ROG Xbox Ally X20, our best advice is to perhaps hold fire for a few more days until the terms and conditions become available, at which point we’ll know more about “game compatibility, system requirements, ratings, and full offer terms”.

Still, it’s pretty cool that Xbox is offering this bundle as a random perk, and especially because many of the titles will be Xbox Play Anywhere supported, meaning you can get free codes to play them across your PC and Xbox consoles!
