Konami Records Strong Profit Having Made Excellent Games Again

Konami is back to making new games in its catalogue of classic franchises, and the work is beginning to pay off. Within its latest financial report, the publisher has recorded a 75.1% increase in profit compared to the previous year, and from April to September 2026, it achieved a 44.3% increase in sales.

So, what did it do during the previous quarter to achieve that? It released fantastic games.

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2, Silent Hill: Townfall, and eBaseball: Pro Spirit 2026 all launched during the quarter, and its eFootball live service title also received a major update.

After many years away from the console and PC gaming scene, as it flirted with Pachinko machines and sports clubs, Konami is finally delivering quality titles, and its financial numbers are up as a result.
