Peacock had previously announced an earlier release date for its O.J. Simpson TV show. Now, following the trailer’s release, fans have begun speculating about a potential accomplice in the murder.
A brand-new trailer for OJ’s Accomplice has been released, giving fresh insights into the case. As the series explores accounts from Kato Kaelin and Nicole Brown Simpson’s sister, questions surrounding a controversial theory are gaining traction.
New eyewitness statements also hint at the possibility that O.J. Simpson may have had an accomplice in the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.
The official description for the project reads, “More than three decades after the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, OJ’s Accomplice challenges one of the most enduring assumptions surrounding the case: that O.J. Simpson acted alone. The two-part documentary takes a fresh look at the case, exploring questions and theories that have persisted for many years.”

What happens in the OJ’s Accomplice trailer?
The trailer for the Peacock original documentary series begins with the narration saying, “In a matter of The People of the State of California vs. Orenthal James Simpson, find the defendant not guilty of the crime of murder.”
As the two-part series challenges the long-held assumption that O.J. Simpson acted alone on the night of June 12, 1994, the trailer hints at the reexamination and testimonies.
The docuseries features commentary from several key figures, including lead defense investigator Pat McKenna, lead detective Tom Lange, and DEA agent Robert Brisolari. In the trailer, the creators tease a fresh examination of the theory that Simpson had an accomplice, introducing claims that link him to an escaped mobster and a marijuana-smuggling drug dealer.
The 1-minute 19-second trailer points towards evidence that was allegedly overlooked during the proceedings of the notorious trial. OJ’s Accomplice is scheduled to begin streaming on Peacock from November 1, 2026.
