The Carolina Panthers face off against the Green Bay Packers in a pivotal contest for both teams on Thursday night at Lambeau Field.
Carolina is coming off of a surprising blowout loss at the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who cruised to a 43-13 victory. Before the Week 7 loss, the Panthers fielded one of the most dangerous offenses in the league and it looked like Bryce Young was finally turning into the star quarterback the team thought they drafted.
Young finished the blowout loss completing just 14-of-27 passing for 163 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. He’d thrown just two interceptions all season before the loss.
On the field, Young is off to the best start to a season of his young career. Off the field, he appears to have a new love interest.
Bryce Young Linked to Former College Basketball Player
A quick glance at his Instagram page shows Young is all business – rarely posting personal photos as he keeps the focus on football. All five of his posts have some connection to football or are advertisements.
While he keeps his personal life private, he was spotted with a woman later identified as Breanne Beatty – a former college basketball player at Oakland and then East Tennessee State.
The quarterback has not confirmed a relationship and Beatty doesn’t appear to have social media.
Young previously dated former Alabama and Pepperdine basketball player Myra Gordon, who went on to date Philadelphia 76ers star Tyrese Maxey. In May, Gordon announced the birth of the couple’s first child, Marvel.
“Year 24. Beyond blessed for every trial, tribulation, and obstacle this past year brought my way — each one shaped me into the strongest version of myself yet. I know now it was all preparing me for this next chapter,” Gordon wrote when she initially announced her pregnancy.
Gordon and Maxey don’t appear to be together.
As for Young, he’ll take the field against the Packers at 8:15 p.m. ET from Lambeau Field. The game will be broadcast on Prime Video.
