Report: The Elder Scrolls 6 Gets Named Ahead Of Xbox Announcement, Plus Extra Details

It sounds like Xbox and Bethesda are getting set to announce the official name of The Elder Scrolls 6 in the coming weeks, as The Verge is reporting today that an announcement will be made at some point in November.

Spoilers ahead if you don’t want to know the name!

According to the report, the name will be The Elder Scrolls VI: Sentinel, and Bethesda has been demoing gameplay of it to various people in recent months, including Xbox CEO Asha Sharma.

Sharma expressed how impressed she was with the game when she saw it in August:

The report also shares some extra details on what to expect in terms of The Elder Scrolls Vi: Sentinel’s setting, claiming that it’ll be set in Hammerfell and serve as “the first game about the history of the Elder Scrolls, and help uncover the secrets of these mysterious ancient artifacts”.

Of course, Microsoft is probably getting set to reveal more about TES6 due to Xbox’s 25th anniversary in November, but it might also be because Skyrim is turning 15 years old on November 11th, so perhaps that’s the date to expect it.

In any case, we’ll obviously bring you the official details if and when they’re revealed next month!
