Why We Love This Deal
It might be a smart idea to start your holiday shopping early this year. Why? It seems to be a growing trend, which means the most popular products are going to start selling out earlier, maybe even before Black Friday. This is going to be especially true for footwear—think anything from Ugg and popular sneakers from Nike. Men’s boots like the Clarks Wallaston are also on this list, and now is the time to get them: Thanks to Macy’s Friend and Family sale (live until Nov. 3), you can get a pair for over 40% off before sizes disappear.
The $140 Clarks Collection Wallaston Suede Boots are down to $83 at Macy’s. All sizes and all six leather options are on sale for the same price, but certain size-color combinations have already started to sell out. If the one you need isn’t available, check out the rest of Macy’s discounts while you’re knocking out some early gift shopping, along with the other hundred-plus Clarks deals at Macy’s.

What Shoppers Should Know
- Upper: Suede
- Midsole: Molded comfort footbed, removable
- Outsole: Crepe-effect rubber
- Construction: Moccasin construction, lace-up, 4.25” shaft
- Best For: Everyday wear, weekends, office casual, gifting
The Wallastons are billed by Clarks as the more affordable younger brother to the iconic Wallabees, and, like the Wallabees, they have a suede upper with moccasin construction and two-eyelet lacing for a snug fit. What changes is underfoot, since the Wallastons have a molded, cushioned footbed the OGs don’t have, so it rides softer. The sole is also crepe-effect rubber instead of natural pebble crepe, keeping the familiar look while avoiding the original’s habit of wearing down more quickly than rubber.
Think of these more as a value version of an iconic silhouette rather than a lesser one, because plenty of Clarks fans actually prefer them over the Wallabees (mostly because of the cushioned footbed). At $83, it’s also nearly half the asking price of the Wallabee Boots, which retail for $150. Christmas is still a few months away, but these make for a great gift, too.

What Shoppers Are Saying
A helpful shopper commented, “Vintage and plenty of compliments. Great cushion for aching feet.” A second reviewer said, “A comfortable, durable shoe, lightweight, good fit, good grip.”
Old-school Clarks fans were also impressed with the quality: “Size is on the mark just like the good old days when I wore them back in the seventies.” Another reviewer wrote, “You can never go wrong with Clarks.”
Clarks’ Collection Wallaston Suede Boots give you that classic Wallabee look for less than $100, and you should grab a pair that fits while you can, as sizes are already starting to run out.
