Fiat’s sales lead in Brazil hinges on pick-ups, however a recent section decline and increasing EV sales might hand BYD an advantage. By Will Girling

Brazilian light vehicle (LV) enrollments increased 18 7 % year-on-year in the third quarter, to 797, 470 systems, according to Brazilian Federation of Auto Dealers (FENABRAVE) data. This brings the nine-month overall for 2026 to virtually 2 16 million systems, up 19 3 %.
