For example, for blue eyes look to “bronze, copper, warm browns, terracotta, and soft oranges,” says Micol. For green eyes, consider “plum, burgundy, maroon, wine, and deep purple tones.” Hazel eyes look great with “olive green, plum, magenta, and rich purples to emphasise their different flecks of color,” while for brown eyes, “royal blue, navy, sapphire, cool-toned purples, and icy metallics create beautiful contrast.”
“It’s less about following one specific makeup look and more about strategically choosing colors that enhance your eyes,” Micol says.
As for how to wear your chosen shade, “soft, cozy textures and blurred cream eyeshadows that melt into the skin,” are the way forward, says Leah. “I’m loving softer, lived-in eyes rather than anything too perfect,” agrees Jenny. And, if you’d rather stick with neutrals, go for “warm browns, taupes, dark greys, and deeper chocolate tones, with liner that’s diffused into the lash line instead of super sharp,” Jenny says. “I also think we’ll see little touches of shimmer coming back, especially just across the lid or inner corner.”
