Kid Rock Admits To Using AI on Controversial New Song with Eminem

Kid Rock has revealed that his controversial new song “Heal My Faith” with Eminem contains AI.

During a recent appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher, Kid Rock explained he used AI technology to create the choir on the chorus.

His confession came after Maher asked the singer’s thoughts on AI, telling him: “They can put out a Kid Rock song now that’s almost indistinguishable.”

Kid Rock admitted he used AI prompts to complete “Heal My Faith” but did use real-life singers to complete the chorus of “7 Sins.” He told Maher he turned to AI not because of budget, but because of impatience.

“I’m an impatient guy,” Kid Rock replied, per Consequence of Sound. “It’s not about the money of getting a choir. But everything I look at in life now is time. How much time do I have?” The “All Summer Long” singer described how he asked AI to create a Southern gospel choir, which made the song’s final cut.

“A lot of people in a choir, and we put them all out of work. Isn’t that what really happened?” Maher pushed back.

Kid Rock countered Maher’s argument by asking, “Did we put drummers out of work when the drum machine was invented?”

“I know AI is something different,” Kid Rock admitted. “I always tell people, you know, it’s a tool right now. I see the dangers of it. I one thousand percent believe it needs to be regulated at the highest levels.” Kid Rock emphasized.

Eminem faced backlash for his collab with staunch Trump supporter, Kid Rock. The rapper explained on social media hours after the album Halfway 2 Jesus was released, “Not about choosing sides, just choosing to make music with my old friend. Praying for all of us.”

Per Rolling Stone, Kid Rock explained that he and Eminem have been friends for over four decades, despite their personal differences. “I really didn’t want to drag him into my political world…. We talk about [politics] a little bit, not a ton. There’s a lot of stuff we agree on, and we can have a laugh about what [we don’t]. That’s why I asked him to write a verse for me.”
