A Learjet crashed in West Palm Beach, Florida, on November 1 in a horrifying tragedy that was captured on video and in audio between the pilot and air traffic controllers.
The frantic pilot radioed air traffic controller, intermittently screaming and telling the tower that the plane was in dire trouble. The plane then crashed to the ground. Be forewarned that both the video and audio are very disturbing.
According to the U.S. Secretary of Transportation, nine people were on board the Learjet.

The female pilot initially reported “moderate turbulence” and asked if the air traffic controller had any better rides. “We need to climb,” she said later. She sounded calm at first.
But then everything changed.
“We’re descending 8,000, mayday, mayday – 10,000 feet per minute,” she screamed a short time later. “We’re going to crash into the ground.” She screamed again.
“We are descending 22,000 feet. We are banking 60 degrees,” she said. “We’re going to die!” She added, “record emergency.” She referred to a man named Jack at one point and said they were out of time.
