The Kansas City Chiefs blew a 24-13 fourth-quarter lead on Sunday afternoon, losing 28-24 to the Denver Broncos and dropping their second consecutive game.
However, Kansas City had the ball at the one-yard line with four seconds remaining. On fourth-and-goal, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes connected with wide receiver Rashee Rice for a touchdown that would have won them the game.
But just moments after the snap, officials threw a flag for a false start on Jaylon Moore, wiping out the touchdown and pushing the Chiefs back five yards. After having to replay the down, Mahomes was ultimately sacked, ending Kansas City’s comeback attempt.

Brittany Mahomes’ Reaction Goes Viral
As expected with any controversial ending in a big game like this one, not everybody agreed with the call, including Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany.
She quickly went viral on social media Sunday night after posting her reaction to the penalty that cost the Chiefs a touchdown and ultimately took away their chance to win the game.
“You can’t tell me you call that on a game winning TD,” Brittany posted on her Instagram story. “Oh wait yeah I can because it’s us.
“That was the weakest call I’ve ever seen, you can’t tell me otherwise.”
