Nectar Premier Hybrid Mattress, Editor Tested & Reviewed in 2026

My boyfriend prefers softer beds, I prefer firmer. So when we were looking into mattresses for our first place together, we thought the Nectar Premier Hybrid seemed like the ideal compromise. Although I did find it softer than I was used to the first time I plopped onto it (before this, I’d exclusively slept on ultra-firm, innerspring mattresses), it didn’t take long for me to fully embrace its balance of plush comfort and pressure-relieving support.

As a mostly side-sleeper, I find that the mattress perfectly conforms to my form, making me feel like I’m being cradled rather than pushing against the surface—or completely sinking into it. This has been a game-changer for my hips and lower back, which would often feel stiff or ache when I woke up on my old mattress. Now, instead of creaking and croaking up like Nosferatu rising out of his coffin, I practically spring out of bed in the morning.

My 6 a.m. energy also comes from the fact that I get such a deep, restful sleep. I almost never wake up in the night, and where I would often lay in bed for hours before drifting off on my old mattress, the comfort of the Nectar Premier soothes me into my snooze almost immediately. This has cut down on my late-night doomscrolling, no doubt another reason I sleep better.
