Calling all Butterbear fans. The adorable character will be taking over orchardgateway from now till 18 October, where you can expect cute themed installations, interactive activities and exclusive collectables to hunt down. It’s all building up to the sold-out Butterbear Happy Walk on 17 October, so if you missed out on tickets, this is your consolation prize. G-Dragon’s PEACEMINUSONE is teaming up with Toy Story, and Clarke Quay is where it’s all going down. From 16 October to 11 November, CQ @ Clarke Quay will be hosting a pop-up by homegrown collectables company Mighty Jaxx, packed with more than 100 collectables, fashion and lifestyle pieces, plus a few things you can only get here.

Collectors, take note. Singapore gets exclusive tees, hats and tote bags, and three highly limited art toys: Woody, Buzz Lightyear and a Crystal Buzz. Each is capped at 888 pieces worldwide, and only 100 of each are coming to Singapore. Spend $200 or more and you’ll be entered into a pool for a shot at buying one, so it’s worth planning your haul.

The pop-up will also feature PEACEMINUSONE daisies, Toy Story standees and photo spots around the precinct. Inside, you’ll find a giant daisy, Woody, Buzz and Jessie, a Dream House, human-sized Woody and Buzz figures, a Dream Wall and photobooths for you to snap photos with your friends.

Meet Your WILD Pal at Singapore Zoo (17 October)

Credit: Fujifilm

Fujifilm just dropped two new additions to its instax line-up, and it’s celebrating with a photo walk at the zoo. On Saturday, 17 October, “Meet Your WILD Pal” lets you spend a day snapping animals with the new gear in hand.

First, the gadgets. The instax Pal 2 is a palm-sized digital camera made to go everywhere with you, with a top-mounted monitor, analogue-style controls, 30 creative effects and an upgraded 10MP sensor. On the flipside, the instax Link WIDE 2 is a smartphone printer that produces wide-format prints, and its new Photo Mixer feature automatically turns your snaps into scrapbook-style collages.

Now for the day out. Your $66 ticket covers full-day Singapore Zoo access, an event starter pack, and a self-guided photo walk where you shoot and print with both devices. Finish the wildlife trail and you’ll walk away with a prize.

teamLab: Infinite Existence (19 September to 8 November)

Credit: teamLab

teamLab’s latest exhibition blurs the line between reality, history and mythology, and what comes out the other side is something beautiful and a little mysterious. It’s the first time Singapore-based art platform Supper House is hosting the internationally renowned collective, and this solo show is built around eight dynamic works.

The big idea here is “Ultrasubjective Space”, where the boundary between you and the artwork disappears. Here, teamLab lets you wander through each piece on your own terms, so no two people walk away with quite the same experience. You can expect to watch waves and waterfalls ebb and flow, witness the rise and fall of civilisations, and sit quietly with the slow passage of geological time.

Moments that Matter at Millennium Hotels and Resorts (Till 31 October)

This October, Millennium Hotels and Resorts has partnered with Breast Cancer Foundation Singapore, to bring the ‘Moments that Matter’ campaign to life across all six of its Singapore properties — a heartfelt initiative centred around care, hope and connection for those touched by breast cancer. At the heart of it is a series of meaningful experiences. For instance, over at Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel Singapore, you can indulge in a personalised wellness tea analysis with Luli that uses AI-powered TCM assessments to craft a herbal tea blend tailored to you, on top of a pink-themed afternoon tea session. Across all six properties, there will also be the ‘Threads of Care’ installation in the lobby where you’re invited to leave messages of strength and support — and once each installation is filled, each hotel will pledge S$1,000 to the Breast Cancer Foundation Singapore.

Spooky season is officially here because Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights makes its return to the theme park from 25 September to 1 November. Expect four haunted houses, two immersive zones, three live shows, and an all-new roving scare experience where the scares come to you. Fan favourites like the pontianak return alongside new additions, including Chatterbox Charlie, a graveyard rave scare zone called The Raveyard, and the debut of a new live show based on the seven deadly sins that is equal parts terrifying and very entertaining. At the park, you’ll also get to meet Universal Studios Japan’s beloved zombie teddy bear HamiKuma, who will be making his first-ever appearance in Singapore.
