There’s never a bad time for new bedding, but fall, when temperatures fall enough outside to make staying under the covers inside all the more appealing, is probably the best time. So the bedding deals in the big fall sale happening at Macy’s are even more appealing at this time of year, particularly when the discounts in question are quite large and include lots of name-brand options like this set from Eddie Bauer.

The Eddie Bauer Ridgeline Solid Plush 3-Piece Quilt Set is on sale for $38 at Macy’s, 60% off its normal $95 price tag. That price is good on the full/queen size option, but the same 60% discount brings the twin option down to $30 and the king to $46. All of the sets come in a very good Forest Green colorway.

This set includes a quilt and two standard shams. The quilt is medium-weight, so it’s perfect on its own as the first cool weather sets in and great under another blanket when the real cold weather hits. It has a very cool repeated pattern of embossed geese in flight, a subtle nod to Eddie Bauer’s heritage as an outdoor company that isn’t apparent until you’re up close.

That same pattern can also be seen on the shams, which also feature a 2-piece overlap closure with rounded corners. On the flip side of both the shams and the quilt, you’ll find a pattern of stripes of varying widths in colors ranging from that same forest green to dark greens, white, gray, and tan. Everything is made of pre-washed polyester, a durable, soft, and warm material, particularly given the quilted construction of the blanket.

Deals We’re Loving

The Eddie Bauer Ridgeline Solid Plush 3-Piece Quilt Set is a soft, comfortable bedding refresh that’s just $38, just in time for cozy season. It’s the kind of low-price upgrade that can pay big dividends.
