Legendary ’60s Rock Band Announces Major News 64 After Their Debut

On July 12, 1962, a group of musicians took the stage at London’s Marquee Club on Oxford Street for their first-ever show. They were just getting started, with no way of knowing how long their musical journey would last. But this band ended up being one of the most influential and historic in all of music history.

Fast-forward 64 years, and that name is still making headlines. The legendary rockers are continuing to add to their catalog with new music, giving fans another reason to get excited. Their latest release brings together a fresh track, a celebrated guest musician and an expanded album collection.

A New Track Featuring an Unexpected Guest

Classic rock legends the Rolling Stones have released their new single, “Who You Callin’ Crazy,” featuring acclaimed jazz saxophonist Courtney Pine. The track comes from the recently announced deluxe edition of their studio album Foreign Tongues, titled Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips.

The expanded collection brings together five recordings from the creative period surrounding Foreign Tongues. Along with the new single, fans can look forward to “Where There’s A Will,” featuring Steve Winwood on organ, as well as “Human Tide,” “Bad Luck Hideaway” and “She Still Comes Around.”

It’s another chapter in the story of a band that first performed together back in 1962. With Courtney Pine joining the mix on “Who You Callin’ Crazy,” the release offers a new collaboration for listeners to check out.

A New Album Drops in November, Adding to a Chart-Topping Release

The original Foreign Tongues was released on July 10 and topped the charts in 14 countries worldwide. The 14-track album followed the band’s Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum release Hackney Diamonds, adding another chapter to the group’s celebrated recording history.

Now, the deluxe edition is set to give fans even more from the sessions surrounding Foreign Tongues. Foreign Tongues, Loose Lips will arrive on Nov. 27 through Polydor/Universal Music, with vinyl, 2CD and digital formats planned.

From that first performance in London in 1962 to a new release more than six decades later, the Rolling Stones continue to give listeners new music to explore. With “Who You Callin’ Crazy” out now and the expanded collection on the way, there’s more from the legendary band for fans to look forward to in the coming weeks.

There’s something pretty wonderful about the fact that they’re still rocking after all these years. The Rolling Stones have given generations of fans music to love, memories to hold onto and plenty of reasons to turn up the volume. At 64 years and counting, they’re still doing what they do best, and honestly, that’s quite amazing.
