The Lord of the Rings is one of the most recognizable brands in fantasy. It is not only a pioneering high-fantasy series of the 20th century, but it has also continued to attract new fans over the years in the 21st century.

The Peter Jackson movies were revolutionary in the early 2000s, and now the Amazon Prime Video series The Rings of Power has tried to follow in its footsteps with mixed results. The series is now in its third season.

This is everything we know about The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power season 3 so far.

When does The Rings of Power season 3 come out?

The third season comes out with its first four episodes on November 11. The fifth and sixth episodes will come out on November 18, and the final two episodes will come out on November 25. This three-week release structure is different from the weekly release structure of the previous two seasons.

What will The Rings of Power season 3 be about?

The third season should be much more action-oriented after the build-up of the first two seasons. Sauron and the Elves will be battling for the fate of Middle-earth.

One of the new characters this season is Galadriel’s husband, Celeborn. Played by Jamie Campbell Bower of Stranger Things, the character is a symbol of the high-wire balancing act of light and darkness that the new season will struggle with. Bower talked a little bit about how his character ticks.

“I mean, I think one thing that’s really important is that you know Celeborn enters this season, I don’t want to use the term battle-hardened, but certainly sort of battle-scarred in a way, having experienced a level of darkness. And I think that the way I’ve viewed his opinion on war was always something that was to remember the sorrow of war was never something to be celebrated all that much. It’s that thing -‘if I have to, I must’ but the loss of any living creature is deeply, you know, important to him. And I think that it almost touches on the idea of sort of the light and the darkness. but you’ll have to see more this season. And I think it really that’s where this wisdom comes from.”
