It’s a shame Until Dawn 2 couldn’t make it out in time for Halloween, but there’s no shortage of other games to play on the PS5 right now, is there?
Sony is instead targeting a 28th January release date for the sequel, developed by first-party studio Firesprite.
It’s been quietly revealing the cast on social media, complete with personality traits and small snippets of info.

Remember, the plot of Until Dawn 2 deals with a group of ghost hunters, known as ‘Dead True’, who have attained a following for making bogus paranormal content on social media.
But when they sign a deal with a big television network to shoot a professionally funded episode on an abandoned tropical island – well, let’s just say the frights may not end up quite so fake anymore.
I’m really looking forward to this game, but I do hope Sony will step up the marketing because I’m a little concerned it could be sent out to die – especially with the much bigger God of War Laufey lurking just a few weeks later.
I don’t think the entire cast has been revealed at the time I’m writing this story, but it looks like the platform holder is publishing one character profile per day, so keep an eye on its social media for more.
