Subway Celebrates National Sandwich Day Early with Throwback Menu Items and BOGO Deal

If you didn’t know, November 3 is National Sandwich Day in the United States, which this year coincides with Election Day in the country. Helping to mark the foodie occasion a bit early is sandwich franchise king, Subway. The sub chain officially reintroduced two fan favorites back to its lineup and a BOGO deal on October 27. To give you a hint, one of these items hasn’t been seen since 2014 and the other since 2021. So will you listen to your SUBconscious and hurry to a Subway to get in on the nostalgia and BOGO deal while you can?

That’s right. The Fritos® Chicken Enchilada Sub is back on Subway menus for a limited time after a 12-year hiatus. It was a sad day for many Subway customers who enjoyed the sandwich during its run, when it disappeared. Now these individuals have the opportunity to dive back into the Frito goodness. However, if you’re not as familiar with the sub, here’s a description offered up by Subway:

“The Fritos Chicken Enchilada Sub brings together juicy rotisserie-style chicken marinated in enchilada sauce, crisp Fritos corn chips and smoky Baja Chipotle sauce, with Monterey Cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes and red onions.”

Pumpkin isn’t the only flavor of the fall around. Caramel apple is also a popular one this time of year in America, and Subway’s Caramel Apple Cookie is back. The cookie “features apple pieces, caramel chips, and salted caramel crunch, finished with a caramel icing drizzle.” A soft, chewy Subway cookie (preferably warm) is always a nice treat to cap a good sandwich.

Now for the deal of it all. Starting today and running through November 8, current and new Sub Club members can redeem a free Footlong sandwich with the purchase of another Footlong, provided the purchase is made via the Subway app or online. Keep in mind that while this is a national promotion, you’ll want to make sure that it’s being run at your local Subway store.
