Travis Kelce Responds to Prince William’s Surprising Taylor Swift Confession

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are arguably the most popular couple in the sports and entertainment worlds, given their respective levels of fame.

Kelce is a three-time Super Bowl champion and future first-ballot Hall of Famer, while Swift is a global pop star with one of the biggest fanbases in the music industry.

They began dating around 2023, but their romance was hard-launched in a viral photo in 2024 when Prince William and his children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, snapped a selfie with the couple.

However, William recently revealed during an appearance on “The Graham Norton Show” that he actually didn’t want Kelce in the photo at the time. He wanted a picture with just himself, his children and Swift, but Kelce kept reappearing in the frame.

“I wasn’t until recently. I hadn’t appreciated the significance — and actually, I was trying to move him out of the photo,” William joked.

“But Travis kept coming back in, and I couldn’t work out why he kept coming back in,” he added. “I was trying to move him out so it was just me and Taylor and the children.”

On Wednesday, during the latest episode of Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast with his older brother, Jason, he responded to William’s surprising confession about the viral picture from over two years ago.

“I get it, man. I think we all get it,” Travis said. “I was just a boyfriend at that point. You know? I wasn’t her husband yet. You know? We don’t really know if this is gonna last, so it’s kinda just move out of the way real quick so we can keep this photo forever. Yeah. Hopefully, this doesn’t go south. Otherwise, this photo is not gonna be as good.

“Shout out to Prince William, man,” Kelce added, showing no ill will toward William.
