Air Jordan 10 ‘Dark Mocha’ – Did It Ever Release?

Jordan Brand released a lot of dark mocha colorways, with the popular Travis Scott sneakers helping spearhead that coffee-colored look.

We got plenty of shoes using that palette, but unfortunately, the Air Jordan 10 “Dark Mocha” never received a confirmed retail release.

I really appreciate the Jordan 10 and consider it one of the more underrated silhouettes in the Jordan Brand catalog. Missing out on this colorway made that lack of attention even more disappointing.

This was absolutely a missed opportunity, and it’s a shoe I hope gets revived at some point.

Did the Air Jordan 10 ‘Dark Mocha’ Ever Release?

The pair was slated to release Sept. 26, 2020, for $190 at Nike and select retailers, but it never officially hit shelves. Nike’s listing sat at “Coming Soon,” and the date passed without official word.

Jordan Brand shared official photos in February 2021, which pointed to a new release window. A confirmed retail date never followed.

Can You Still Buy the Air Jordan 10 ‘Dark Mocha’?

Because it never had a wide release, there’s no standard resale market for it. Any pair that surfaces on resale sites deserves careful authentication before you buy.

What Makes the Air Jordan 10 ‘Dark Mocha’ Stand Out?

The colorway is special. On this particular silhouette, the Jordan 10’s color blocking brings out that coffee-colored, almost mahogany look in a way that might only be surpassed by the Jordan 11.

Dark Mocha leads the upper in a mix of suede and leather, with black tumbled leather for contrast. Infrared 23 hits the heel Jumpman and the striped outsole, and Prism Violet accents add another pop.

The striped outsole design nods to milestones from Michael Jordan’s career, a signature of the Air Jordan 10.
