Why We Love This Deal
As patio season nears its end, markdowns on outdoor furniture sets are getting even sweeter. While the budget sets that lure buyers with low prices have been known to cut seat depth and back height (some even skip the cushions), there’s one set at Walmart that doesn’t skimp on comfort on sale for just a little more than these value-tier picks. If you’re on the hunt for a patio furniture set you can really sink into, this seven-piece outdoor sectional with thick cushions is the one you should be looking at.
Normally priced at $850, the Clouddwell 7-Piece Outdoor Rattan Sectional Sofa is down to $300 at Walmart in the final stretch of the outdoor lounging season. The best discount for this bestselling set is for the off-white option, although it comes in gray and blue as well for $360 and $488, respectively. Those working with less space can check out this five-piece outdoor sectional that’s on sale for $166 and still looks super comfortable.

What Shoppers Should Know
- Material: Powder-coated galvanized steel frame, PE rattan, polyester cushion covers, glass-top table
- Seating: 17.7” seat height, 22” seat depth, 26” back and arm height
- Layout: Six seats plus a coffee table, 4” seat and back cushions
- Care: Removable, machine-washable cushion covers
- Best For: Decks, patios, hosting, backyard hangouts
If you’re wondering whether this is more than just a good-looking set on paper, the answer is in the seat height and depth. Both are closer to an indoor couch, and the back and arms come up to 26 inches, with 4-inch-thick cushions on both the seat and back. That gives you comfort you don’t typically see in sets for this price, and the modular design means you can split it into separate chairs or rearrange it into an L-shape, a long sofa, or a conversation layout. It weighs 133 pounds assembled, so it won’t blow away in the wind, and the removable seat cushions are machine washable for easy maintenance.
Sure, you can get a more basic patio set for a fraction of the price, but those more affordable options often seat fewer people or skip cushions entirely (let alone have cushions that feel like an indoor couch). The full-height box-arm look is a style that’s usually found in far pricier outdoor furniture, too.
What Shoppers Are Saying
One helpful reviewer wrote, “Actually, it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be,” and a second shopper said, “It’s very comfortable as well; I have fallen asleep on it outside many times already.”
The modular design was another highlight for shoppers: “You can move it in many directions, and the quality is great.” It’s easy to assemble, too: “Easy to assemble, and the sturdiness was excellent.”
If you’re tired of flimsy patio sets that don’t quite live up to your comfort expectations, Clouddwell’s 7-Piece Outdoor Rattan Sectional Sofa is the set to grab for $300. Shipping will cost another $90, but even at $390, it’s still well below most other seven-piece outdoor sectionals.
