Earlier this month, the NFL removed Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs from the Commissioner’s Exempt List, allowing him to play after missing the first six games of the season following a lawsuit where he allegedly struck his ex-girlfriend.
The move came not long after a Freedom of Information Act request from ESPN revealed the Hobart/Lawrence police department determined that “certain records could be released with appropriate redactions” regarding Jacobs’ case involving his unnamed ex-girlfriend dubbed “ANM” in police reports.
The running back later appealed the decision, further blocking reported video of the incident. Typical domestic violence incidents receive a six-game suspension from the league, which could still punish Jacobs further if the video is released.
For now, he’s set to make his Lambeau Field debut against the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night. Will he have a girlfriend cheering him on?
Josh Jacobs in Rumored Relationship With Influencer
The answer is somewhat unclear. The New York Post reported Jacobs was dating influencer Ashaley (Ash) Kaash, who flaunted a bouquet of flowers while the star running back was still on the exempt list.
Jacobs and Kaash were initially linked to each other during the NFL’s postseason earlier this year, then confirmed their relationship by posting photos and video on vacation together after the Packers’ season ended.
Kaash has not been identified as the woman in the alleged video and it’s unclear if the couple is back together. The two do not follow each other on social media.
As for Jacobs, the Packers running back made his presence felt immediately upon returning to the field last weekend against the Detroit Lions. He racked up 91 total yards and a touchdown on 16 touches.
Tonight he faces off against a Panthers that’s among the league’s worst in defending the run.
