Gisele Bündchen delivered one of the biggest surprises of the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
The 46-year-old supermodel appeared in a prerecorded video at the beginning of the Oct. 18 livestream before Bella Hadid officially opened the runway show in Los Angeles.
Bündchen lounged in a pink lace push-up bra, matching underwear, and one of Victoria’s Secret’s silky robes as she welcomed viewers.
“Are you ready for the show?” she asked.
The Brazilian model returned at the end of the broadcast following the runway finale. This time, she teased that her renewed relationship with the lingerie company may extend beyond the surprise cameo.
“Wasn’t that amazing?” Bündchen said before adding, “You are going to be seeing more of me real soon. Ciao!”
The appearance came 20 years after Bündchen last walked in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2006. She debuted with the brand in 1999, when she was 19, and officially began working with the company the following year through a reported $25 million contract.
During her tenure, Bündchen became one of Victoria’s Secret’s most recognizable Angels. She also modeled the $15 million Red Hot Fantasy Bra in 2000. Covered with 300 carats of Thai rubies, the design held the Guinness World Record for the most expensive piece of lingerie until 2006.
Bündchen ultimately ended her relationship with the brand after becoming increasingly uncomfortable modeling revealing lingerie. She wrote in her 2018 memoir, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, that she was at a different stage by the time her contract came up for renewal and felt at peace with walking away.
Her latest cameo was not her first reunion with Victoria’s Secret. Bündchen returned in 2023 to appear alongside Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel in a campaign for the brand’s Icon collection.
According to TMZ, days before the 2026 show, Bündchen was photographed in Miami Beach using crutches and wearing a medical boot. The reason for the apparent foot injury has not been disclosed.
For now, Bündchen’s brief return connected the lingerie brand’s most famous era with its current chapter and proved that an Angel does not necessarily need wings, or even a runway, to make an entrance.
