BICV’s European push rides the shift toward consolidating driving and cabin computing onto shared hardware in new vehicles
Chinese connected-vehicle supplier BICV is using its first appearance at IZB 2026 in Wolfsburg to court European automakers, showing more than 20 products spanning cockpits, telematics and navigation at the fair from 27 to 29 October. The company says it has shipped over one million units abroad in more than a decade of overseas business.
Its partners outside China include automakers Suzuki, Citroën and Proton as well as audio and infotainment brands Pioneer and Alpine. BICV runs development teams in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia, with business and manufacturing sites in Europe, Japan and Southeast Asia. Local teams handle joint development, volume supply and after-sales support for overseas automakers.
Central to the display is a cockpit-driving fusion platform that pools computing for automated driving, the cockpit, the instrument cluster and vehicle control, then shares it out according to the driving situation. A new cockpit system adds low-latency AI interaction and Dolby Vision audio-visual output, alongside a 3D augmented reality head-up display.
Merging driving and cockpit computing onto shared hardware follows the industry’s move toward centralised vehicle electronics. BICV sells everything from individual components to complete domain controllers, so European customers can buy at whatever level of integration suits a programme.
