What is the latest and greatest Lamborghini in your vision? Could it be the Temerario “baby” supercar? The Revuelto flagship? The Fenomeno that’s part of the company’s “few-off” series? Or the Urus?

Well, it all depends on what you like, to be honest, but from a financial perspective, it is none other than the latter. After all, this model, which is the brand’s second high-rider after the iconic LM002 manufactured between 1986 and 1993, has helped the Raging Bull more than double its sales, proving that exotic crossovers can be extremely successful if they are marketed correctly.

Overall, the Lamborghini Urus is an aging product. That’s because it will turn ten in 2017. It hit the assembly line back in 2017, and when the facelifted iteration came out five years later, the lineup was expanded with the Urus S and Urus Performante. Then the Urus SE came out with its plug-in hybrid powertrain, boasting plenty of oomph.

It had 789 hp (800 ps/589 kW) in total and 701 lb-ft (950 Nm) of torque, taking 3.4 seconds from 0-62 mph (0-100 kph), and maxing out at 194 mph (312 kph). But why are we talking about it in past tense? For a very simple reason: the Urus SE is dead. And it’s also buried. And it will remain that way for eternity, because Lamborghini has a new member in the Urus family.

It is called the Lamborghini Urus SE Performante, and it is the automaker’s most powerful crossover ever made. The model debuted back when it was still summer in the northern hemisphere, retiring its predecessor, and remaining the only Urus currently in production.

As you likely recall, it has 801 horsepower available via the right pedal in total, which equals 812 metric horsepower and 597 kilowatts. The peak torque is officially rated at 738 pound-feet (1,000 Nm). That’s a 12 hp (12 ps/9 kW) boost over the Urus SE, and 144 hp (146 ps/107 kW) more than the Urus S and Urus Performante. Compared to the original iteration, the new PHEV model is 160 hp (162 ps/119 kW) more powerful.

It features a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V8 engine with plug-in hybrid capabilities. The electric motor is housed inside the ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. Lamborghini’s Urus SE Performante takes 3.3 seconds from 0 to 62 mph. Thus, it is just as fast as the old Urus Performante, and 0.1 seconds quicker than the Urus SE. It has a 194 mph ()312 kph) top speed, and can travel 37 miles (60 km) on electric power alone.

Now, despite being a few months old, the Lamborghini Urus SE Performante does not get much attention from the internet. But the Raging Bull knows that it is a moneymaker, and plans to make it more visible in the online kingdom. And in this case, it used its personalization division, Ad Personam, in order to put the spotlight on the example pictured in the gallery.

The vehicle in question definitely looks the part with its light blue paint finish. The color is called the Celeste Phoebe, and it is contrasted by some exposed carbon fiber elements, as well as some black touches here and there, the rear privacy windows, and the OEM wheels that are presented in Aether Shiny White, according to the automaker itself.

One might expect to find an equally-colorful cockpit, right? Well, maybe if this Lamborghini Urus SE Performante came from a tuner. But it was signed by Ad Personam, as mentioned above, and in this case, it features a black cabin with some white accents for contrast, including the stitching, the special touches on the seats, and the Performante embroidery on the seatbacks.

Overall, this is a very eye-catching product, this writer believes, albeit one that deserves to celebrate its fifteen minutes of online fame sitting under more natural light. What I am trying to say is that the clouds should take some time off in order to let the sun bathe it as it should.

Moreover, Ad Personam proves yet again that those who want to make their Lamborghini vehicles stand out more do not need to turn to the tuning world, because the Raging Bull’s personalization division has plenty of aces up its sleeve, and in the right combination, you won’t encounter an identical ride.

Sure, interested parties will have to reach out to tuners if more power is what they want, because Ad Personam only takes care of the visuals both inside and out. But realistically speaking, does any modern-day Lambo require more oomph? That would obviously be a no, as the supercars and the latest version of the Urus pack more than enough punch for daily drives, sprinkled with the occasional run at the local racetrack.

Now, do you dig the spec of this Lamborghini Urus SE Performante? I do, and this comes from someone who is not a fan of the model that shares its underpinnings with the demised Volkswagen Touareg, among others.
