Starting this week, Las Vegas travelers can catch their next flight at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) via safe, reliable, and magical Waymo rides. Current Waymo riders in Las Vegas now have airport access, and we’ll gradually welcome more riders over time before opening to everyone. Pickups and dropoffs will conveniently occur at dedicated autonomous vehicle zones on Ground Zero Level at Terminal 1 and Terminal 3.
Harry Reid International Airport is one of the busiest airports in the United States and serves as the primary gateway for millions of visitors traveling to Las Vegas each year. Waymo riders can travel to any destination they desire within our current 24 square mile service area, with plans to serve more of the region over time.
This marquee connection to LAS deepens our relationship in the community, building on our recently announced partnerships as the official ride-hailing partner of the Las Vegas Raiders and Allegiant Stadium, as well as The Venetian Resort. Waymo is proud to support Nevada’s economy, tourism industry, and local communities.
“We’re excited to welcome Waymo’s autonomous fleet to our airport,” said James C. Chrisley, Clark County Director of Aviation. “We serve millions of passengers every year, and as new technologies continue to evolve, we’re always looking for ways to bring new options and added convenience to our travelers. Welcoming Waymo is another step toward giving our passengers more choices in how they get to and from the airport.”
“Fully autonomous Waymo rides at Harry Reid International Airport offer a seamless, stress-free way for travelers to catch a flight or hit the town,” said Arica Gately, Head of Airport Business Development and Partnerships, Waymo. “Thank you to LAS for partnering with us on this journey and helping us add a bit of magic to your airport’s travel experience.”
