Coven Academy chronicles the adventures of three teenage witches-in-training at an elite boarding magic school. As the series has kept fans hooked, fans have been wondering about fresh episodes. So, why won’t there be a new Coven Academy episode this week?
Here is everything you need to know about the recent discussion around the supernatural teen drama series.
Why Coven Academy won’t air a new episode this week
Coven Academy won’t air a new episode this week, as the series has come to an end.
The show aired its last episode on October 15, 2026. It had a total of 10 episodes. Fans wondered if there would be more episodes due to many streaming platforms splitting their seasons into parts. However, Coven Academy isn’t following this trend, and all its episodes have dropped at their respective release time.
Besides extra episodes, fans have been curious about the next seasons of the show. However, Coven Academy has yet to announce a Season 2. The series has gained positive reactions from the audience, including a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Malina Weissman teased a potential second season in her interview with CBR. “I am so excited for a Season 2,” she said. Weissman continued, “In every show, in Season 1, you get to know the characters; you get to know the world; you get to know the baggage that everybody is carrying. In a Season 2, you get to actually just live in it and see what happens.”
The actress shared she would love to see the love triangle thrive and witness character growth. “I hope that Briar keeps being confused about the two boys. I hope that she continues to figure herself out, and I hope that the three girls just have a lot of fun with life,” the 23-year-old explained. Weissman added, “The show is about identity, so I hope each and every one of them keeps making bad decisions and good decisions and see where that takes them.” Nevertheless, fans must wait for an official confirmation on Coven Academy Season 2.
