Michael Easton has given fans a glimpse of his life away from daytime television, trading Port Charles for the ocean. The former General Hospital actor recently returned to Instagram with beach photos featuring his daughter.
Former General Hospital star Michael Easton shares surfing photos
Easton’s latest post focused on a family tradition rather than his acting career. He shared pictures from what he called his last surfing trip of the season, spending the day by the sea with his daughter, Lilah Bell.
The actor also admitted that his student had overtaken him on the waves. “Even though I taught her, Lilah Bell is a better surfer than me now,” Easton wrote, adding that she still lets him “tag along.” He also shared how much he enjoys spending time with his kids near the water.
The photos gave fans a look at Easton’s active lifestyle. In the opening image, he held a surfboard with his wetsuit pulled down to his waist, showing off his physique while looking toward the distance. Other pictures captured him smiling alongside Lilah Bell before the pair paddled out into the ocean. The update also marked a return to Instagram after Easton had gone more than six months without posting on his official account.
Easton’s post also caught the attention of his former General Hospital castmates. Kelly Monaco, known for playing Sam, left a heart emoji, prompting Easton to reply, “Miss you, Kelly.” Mark Lawson, who played Dustin, called the post “extremely awesome dad content.” Easton thanked him and added a playful comment about trying to keep pace with him.
It has been over two years since Easton last appeared on General Hospital. His exit came through Dr. Hamilton Finn’s decision to seek rehabilitation, ending the character’s Port Charles storyline. However, Easton has yet to comment on whether he might reprise the role.
