Denzel Washington is teaming up with Christopher McQuarrie, the filmmaker behind the recent “Mission: Impossible” movies, for a new, untitled crime thriller at Amazon MGM Studios and United Artists. The project has already been greenlit and is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 1, 2027.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, McQuarrie will direct Washington in the original thriller, written by Scott Barkan and Gregg Zehentner (“Into The Dark,” “Edge Of Fear”).
