In the wake of yesterday’s World Series-themed spot, Marvel Studios has released another 30-second spot for “Avengers: Doomsday” with some new moments not seen in previous trailers.
The biggest inclusion is an extension of Paul Rudd’s Captain America joke, more shots with Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers, glimpses of Dr. Doom and more.
The spot comes as speculation is growing over which characters won’t make it out alive in the new film, the lack of screen time for certain characters in the trailers and TV spots leading to several obvious contenders to get the chop.
In the film, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and ultimately face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.
The film’s massive cast includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Paul Rudd, Robert Downey Jr., Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Winston Duke, Sebastian Stan, Letitia Wright, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Joseph Quinn, Kelsey Grammer, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, James Marsden, Channing Tatum, Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Tenoch Huerta Mejia, Mabel Cadena, Florence Pugh, Danny Ramirez, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Lewis Pullman, India Rose Hemsworth, and Wesley Holloway.
Directors Anthony and Joe Russo are still finishing “Avengers: Doomsday” ahead of its December 18th release.
