PlayStation Plus Subscribers Officially Get 2 Bonus Free Games On November 3

On top of its standard offerings each month, Sony has now confirmed that five more free games will be heading to the PlayStation Plus Essential library this November. You may be wondering, isn’t it usually three extra games? In which case, you would be correct. However, with one title consisting of three full-length games, Sony has been pretty crafty this month.

Featuring a classic RPG, a much-loved remaster, and a single-player roguelite, these late offerings are set to be every part as exciting as the main November additions.

In the meantime, however, PlayStation is reminding users that they have until just 2 November to grab the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games for October, including: F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.

So what are the five additions to the November PlayStation Plus library for Essential members?

It begins with Dead Island 2 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. First launched back in 2023 as a sequel to Dead Island and marking the third installment in the franchise, the RPG survival horror follows six playable characters as they attempt to escape from a restricted quarantine zone in Los Angeles during the midst of a zombie apocalypse. Featuring ten playable zones, as opposed to one large open-world, Dead Island 2 offers “procedurally generated dismemberment” and really, what else do you need?

Next is Monster Train 2 for the PlayStation 5. Launching back in 2025 and once again, marking the second sequel in this list, the roguelike deckbuilder returns with all new clans, new enemy factions, new challenges, new modes, and more. By engaging in the classic three-tiered, vertical gameplay that made the original title a classic, you will need to defend your Pyre and master the deck in this highly-rated card-building experience.

However, most exciting, and the reason this list consists of five games rather than three, is the inclusion of Tomb Raider IV – VI Remastered for the PS4 and PS5. In this remastered collection of the classic Darkness trilogy, players will get to experience Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation, Tomb Raider: Chronicles and Tomb Raider: The Angel of Darkness, all in one handy package. Not only that, but with the option to choose between the classic polygonal models, or a more graphically enhanced version, you will be able to cater to your experience with some of the most beloved Tomb Raider entries.
