After a reintroduction to the Dashwood sisters earlier this month with the latest adaptation of Sense and Sensibility, it’s now nearly time to meet Mr. Darcy. Netflix has shared the official trailer for its six-part Pride and Prejudice series adaptation, set to premiere on December 3. It provides a gorgeous, sun-drenched look at the newest take on Jane Austen‘s legendary novel, starring Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet alongside Slow Horses star and James Bond finalist Jack Lowden as her proud gentleman love interest. Billed as a faithful rendition of the tale, the series will follow the pair as they grow from adversaries to lovers against the backdrop of 19th century English society.
