‘The Gentlemen’ Season 3 Heads To The Middle East, Adds Robert Carlyle, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Dexter Fletcher & More To Cast

Well, this will be music to the ears of Guy Ritchie fans: “The Gentlemen” Season 3 is already in production, in Morocco no less, and Netflix has confirmed multiple newcomers to the cast for the next installment. Shooting S3 already? Given the prolific Ritchie, who’s done eight films and three (soon to be four) TV shows this decade, that comes as no surprise. It also means the new season should premiere on the streamer as early as next year.

Here’s the list of cast additions for S3: Robert Carlyle, Elijah Wood, Orlando Bloom, Dexter Fletcher, Bruna Marquezine, Ed Speleers, Saffron Burrows, and Bugzy Malone. That makes six first-time collaborators with Ritchie, and two who’ve worked with him before. The two Ritchie alumni? Fletcher in “Lock Stock And Two Smoking Barrels” and Malone in the original “The Gentlemen” film from 2019 and 2023’s “Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.” But the most intriguing names here are Carlyle and Bloom, two veteran UK actors who should feature heavily given their star power.

The eight new cast members will join returning leads Theo James and Kaya Scodelario, along with Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Vinnie Jones, Jasmine Blackborow, Harry Goodwins, Benjamin Clementine, and Maya Jama. Two notable absences here: Daniel Ings and Giancarlo Esposito. Esposito may still show up, but Ings has already confirmed he won’t be back for S3; we’ll see how the show writes around his absence.

As for the set-up for “The Gentlemen” S3? Per Netflix, the new episodes will follow James’ Eddie and Scodelario’s Susie as they embark on their most ambitious project yet: building a casino in the Middle East. Production is underway now in the UK and Morocco.

Here’s a brief press statement about the new season from Ritchie: “The ambition of “The Gentlemen” has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.”

“The Gentlemen” is created by Ritchie, who co-writes the series with Matthew Read, and co-directs with Eran Creevy. Ritchie also leads executive producers with Ivan Atkinson, Read, Will Gould, Simon Crawford Collins, and Frith Tiplady for Moonage Pictures alongside Jonathan Glickman and Alix Jaffe for Miramax TV, and James. Producers include Sophie Klein, Sophie MacClancy, and Max Keene.

So when should Netflix subscribers expect “The Gentlemen” S3 to premiere? Let’s call it late 2027. Take a look at a first-look photo from the new season below.
