Chipotle is offering $6 entrees on Halloween to customers who wear costumes

Chipotle is bringing back its annual Boorito promotion for Halloween 2026, giving customers the chance to grab a $6 entree simply by showing up in costume.

The promotion returns on October 31 at participating Chipotle restaurants across the US, with customers able to claim discounted food for a limited time.

Boorito has been a Halloween tradition at Chipotle for more than 25 years, dating back to 2000 when the promotion first launched as a burrito-themed costume contest. This year’s event also includes a separate delivery offer for customers on November 1.

How to get Chipotle’s $6 Halloween deal

To claim the $6 entree, customers must visit a participating Chipotle location in costume between 3 p.m. local time and closing on Saturday, October 31.

The offer is exclusive to Chipotle Rewards members, who must scan their membership card at checkout to receive the discounted price.

Each customer wearing a costume can purchase one $6 entree, with restaurant employees determining whether their outfit qualifies for the promotion.

The deal is only available for in-person orders and cannot be redeemed through the Chipotle app, website, or delivery services. Kids meals and catering orders are also excluded.

Customers should also be aware that extras like guacamole, queso, additional meat, and other modifications may cost more. Taxes and sides are not included in the $6 price.

For those who miss the Halloween promotion, Chipotle is also waiving delivery fees on November 1 for qualifying orders of at least $10 placed through its website or app.

However, the delivery promotion does not eliminate service fees or higher menu prices associated with delivery orders. It also cannot be redeemed through third-party services.

“We love that Chipotle has become part of so many fans’ Halloween traditions,” said Stephanie Perdue, Chipotle’s Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing. “The passion around Boorito inspires us to find new ways to celebrate and surprise our fans year after year.”

Boorito has undergone several changes since its introduction in 2000. In 2020, the promotion moved entirely online, offering customers buy-one-get-one-free codes through a virtual trick-or-treating event.

The following year, Chipotle brought Boorito into the metaverse with a virtual restaurant, while the 2023 promotion introduced extended late-night hours in select college towns.

For 2026, Chipotle also brought back $6 margaritas in select cities ahead of the Halloween event, expanding its seasonal promotions beyond the traditional discounted entrees.
