Last week, Cyberpunk 2077 celebrated the release of the new season of Edgerunners on Netflix with the reveal of a brand new game update.
The Edgerunners 2 update is now officially live on the Switch 2, but unfortunately, it’s not got off to the best start. Players are reporting multiple problems, including game crashes, loading bugs, performance issues, and profile & save glitches. Some Night City residents are even claiming the Nintendo version is “unplayable” after the 2.5 update.
We’ve had a look at the latest update and can confirm there are some bugs, including crashes. The good news is CD Projekt Red is normally quick to respond to these kinds of teething issues. And hey, CP2077 has quite the history when it comes to buggy launches, so it’s likely already investigating these player reports & will resolve any major issues ASAP with a patch.
If we get an official response or hear anything about a hotfix, we’ll provide an update. And if you haven’t already seen what’s included in this latest game update, it adds mod support, dual-wielding for pistols, and much more. You can find out about in our previous post. We’ll also take this opportunity to remind you that this release is still a remarkable port for the Switch 2.
