Ethan Klein says he is working to give up his ownership and financial stakes in the H3 Podcast and other businesses following allegations that he had a six-month affair.
The YouTuber confirmed his withdrawal in a series of Instagram Stories on October 23, after his wife, Hila Klein, said he had admitted to having a six-month affair, and the H3 Podcast crew announced they would no longer work with him.

In his statement, Klein asked fans to respect his family’s privacy and refrain from contacting them about the controversy.
“I know a lot of people are understandably looking for a comment from me, but I ask that you please respect my family’s privacy and do not contact them looking for me or asking for their comments,” he wrote.
“They have nothing to do with this and share in your outrage and disappointment. Thank you.”
Klein subsequently issued what he described as “one final comment,” outlining plans to remove himself financially from the businesses he shares with Hila.
“I am working with Hila to urgently remove my ownership and financial stakes in any podcasts, Teddy Fresh, Teddy Glow or any joint venture that I would profit from,” he wrote.
“All of your support will go directly to Hila and the crew. I do this in the hope that people can still support Hila and the Crew without the concern of enriching me.”
Klein also expressed confidence in the H3 Podcast team continuing without him.
“I know the crew will make an awesome show, they are packed to the brim with the most talented, creative, hilarious and all around great people.”
His statements came after Hila said that Ethan had been having an affair for more than six months.
Klein has not confirmed when the proposed ownership changes will be completed.
