Nemiga have eliminated DENDELE from PGL Masters Bucharest after a one-sided victory (Nuke 13-3, Ancient 13-6) in the 1-2 pool.
The majority-Russian squad lock in their place in Wednesday’s deciding 2-2 pool, where they will require a win to secure their playoff spot.
For DENDELE, this is a disappointing end to the tournament, but the Brazilian squad can find solace in their win against G2, which saw them all but confirm their Singapore Major spot.
The series began on Nuke, where Aleksandr “KaiR0N-” Anashkin started like a man possessed and had a 16-0 K-D after eight rounds. While he cooled off somewhat and finished on a 1.88 rating, his teammates did more than enough to cruise to a 13-3 victory.
Ancient was slightly closer thanks to DENDELE winning two pistol rounds, but Nemiga barely broke a sweat on the way to a 13-6 victory to stay alive in Bucharest.
