Ultimate Pixel Lineage Race Tier List [Race EVOs]

Updated on October 19, 2026: Added more info on Race Evos and Heirloom/Heartblood locations.

Pixel Lineage races used to play a lesser role in your overall build but now with the Race Evolution update, they’re a major part of optimization. The update made Rare and Uncommon races viable choices that can compete with Mythicals. Here’s my Pixel Lineage race tier list and Race EVO and Heirloom/Heartblood guide.

Pixel Lineage Race Tier List

All Races in Pixel Lineage Ranked

Race Abilities & Passives Below
S
Nightborne game image

Nightborne

MythicalHeals on attacks is amazing for sustainThe overheal shield makes you quite tankyThe EVO DMG boost on low HP enemies is excellent for bosses
Celestine game image

Celestine

MythicalUsed to be the best DPS raceNow all of those magic and crit boosters scale even better with EVOs
A
Vesper game image

Vesper

RareQuite a reliable damage boost for magicAbilities help a lot with energy managementAdded DPS from counterstrike
Seraph game image

Seraph

MythicalAn excellent support raceAmazing sustain for solo runsEVO abilities just solidify the playstyle making it a better self healer than Tideborn
Sylvan game image

Sylvan

RareThe Sylph ally is an incredible supportEspecially with AOE heals and poison from EVOThe massive nature damage boost is excellent with the Nature Blade traitA bit of a specific inflexible build but quite strong
Dullahan game image

Dullahan

MythicalGreat defensive and offensive statsHeadless Ride is an excellent AOE burst damage move that weakens and gets boosted as you EVOSince EVO only boosts H.R. it’s a bit too tied to its cooldown which isn’t ideal even with the Stage II EVO CD reduction
B
Tideborn game image

Tideborn

MythicalEVO is good overall but a bit underwhelmingThe increase in healing is always useful but it’s a minor bumpYou mainly want it for debuff cleansingOverall, the buffs and occasional Leviathan damage just isn’t up to Mythical standards
Ashborn game image

Ashborn

UncommonA nice overall damage boostThe burn damage is unreliable but the survive death once is pretty useful
Stonekin game image

Stonekin

UncommonA great beginner race with a nice damage boost for Fist buildsVery specific to Fist/Blunt DMG but a strong tanky build with the DMG resistance
C
Mushroom game image

Mushroom

RareThe EVO abilities are decent and the cloud proc is nice when it activatesThat said it’s very situational and relying on it hurts a lot when it doesn’t proc
Slime game image

Slime

RareSome defense and sustain is overall goodIt’s just not that powerful and the fire damage debuff can hurt on certain bosses
Dwarf game image

Dwarf

UncommonLike Slime but without the debuff and less overall stats
Human game image

Human

CommonAn array of decent stat boosts that are more useful than GoblinThe rally cry is pricey but useful in a group
D
Goblin game image

Goblin

UncommonNice for farming but it’s not worth it since the other damage bonuses are extremely situational

The best races in Pixel Lineage usually depend on your build. That said, there are some races that are either more flexible for multiple builds or are more viable than others for specific classes. This is especially true now with race Heirloom/Heartblood items (See locations below) for evolutions to get additional stats and boost your racial abilities. Check out the ranking reasons in the tier list above and below you can find a full list of racial bonuses.
