Here’s what the development team had to say about this change:
“We’ve seen your conversations and feedback over the last few months around our male Jun character model. We’ve been listening, and we take that feedback seriously. We’ve continued to refine Jun as we worked on him and the rest of the game.”
Honestly, we haven’t been following the discourse around this character since the Exodus reveal, but it doesn’t really feel like Jun needed a visual overhaul. The new version is fine too, but certainly seems to de-age the character.
We’d love to hear your thoughts about this in the comments section below, and we’ll have more details to share in the lead up to Exodus’s release on April 7th, 2027. Pre-orders aren’t yet available for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, but it’s definitely coming to those platforms, and it’ll also support Xbox Play Anywhere from day one.
