Air Jordan 10 ‘Sacramento’ Finally Returns: Where to Buy the OG

The Air Jordan 10 ‘Sacramento’ (HJ6779-002) is an OG I’ve wanted since the first time I saw it. Black tumbled leather, rich purple accents and unmistakable 1990s basketball nostalgia make this one of my most anticipated releases of 2026. The Jordan 10 doesn’t command the attention of the 4 or 11, but don’t underestimate this comeback. After more than 30 years without a retro, I expect the ‘Sacramento’ to be difficult to secure at retail.

Air Jordan 10 ‘Sacramento’ Release Date and Where to Buy

The Air Jordan 10 ‘Sacramento’ is scheduled to release December 5, 2026, for $215, according to Sneaker Files. Although several recent Air Jordans have remained available after release, I wouldn’t count on that happening here.

Black tumbled leather dominates the upper, complemented by Dark Concord accents and contrasting Jumpman branding. The outsole displays 10 milestones from Michael Jordan’s career, while full-length Air cushioning and flex grooves deliver comfort and flexibility.

Originally released in 1995, the ‘Sacramento’ belonged to the five-city Air Jordan 10 City Series alongside Chicago, New York, Orlando and Seattle. Designed by Tinker Hatfield during Jordan’s first retirement, the AJ10 became closely associated with MJ’s legendary 1995 comeback.

Should You Buy the Air Jordan 10 ‘Sacramento’?

I’ve already picked up the ‘Shadow’ and ‘Steel,’ and the ‘Sacramento’ is next. Its black leather construction offers everyday versatility, while the purple accents give it personality without overwhelming the design.

At $215, this is a strong pickup for longtime Jordan collectors and anyone who appreciates the silhouette’s comfort and history. I wouldn’t bank on resale profits, but I wouldn’t wait for a discount either. This OG deserves a spot in my rotation.
