Air Jordan 8 ‘Three Peat’ – Price and Where to Buy

In June 1993, I’d had a rough senior year in high school and put myself in a position to have to graduate from summer school. Yeah, that sucked, but man were the Chicago Bulls good. Growing up on the South Side of Chicago, Michael Jordan and the Bulls’ success through and at the end of the 1992-93 season was something that made us happy.

I remember when John Paxson hit the clutch three that locked up the Bulls’ third straight NBA championship on the road against the Phoenix Suns. It was the culmination of a great run as Jordan would retire in the offseason before returning late during the 94-95 season. The accomplishment was legendary and any sneaker that commemorates the three-peat should be stellar. While some might not like the Air Jordan 8 Three Peat carrying the colors of the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers and Suns because it doesn’t have any Bulls energy, I see it as the ultimate flex. Let’s talk sneakers.

Why Does the Air Jordan 8 ‘Three Peat’ Stand Out?

The White/Infrared 23-Black-Bright Concord colorway assigns each accent to a Finals opponent: yellow for the Lakers, Infrared for the Trail Blazers and Bright Concord purple for the Suns. Jordan Brand also swapped the Air Jordan 8’s usual circular tongue logo for a hoop scribble that references the Larry O’Brien trophy, set against white perforated leather side panels.

Should You Buy the Air Jordan 8 ‘Three Peat’?

The Air Jordan 8 is low-key one of the most comfortable retro Jordans available — once you get it on your foot. While the Air Jordan 3 and 11 are really easy to slip into, the AJ8 with its bootie-sock feature can make it a chore.

Aside from that, this is a winner and carrying the colors of the conquered teams makes it all the more strong.
