Alani Nu Is Bringing Back Its Winter Wonderland Energy Drink With a New Flavor

Alani Nu is bringing back one of its seasonal energy drinks for another winter, but fans shouldn’t expect it to taste quite the same this time around.

The brand’s Winter Wonderland energy drink is returning for 2026 with a new sugar cookie flavor, according to snack spotter Snackolator, who found cans at Five Below earlier this month. A wider rollout is expected after Halloween.

Winter Wonderland is Departing Its Normal Flavor Palate

The new flavor is a pretty significant change from last year’s Winter Wonderland, which had a cranberry-forward flavor profile. Alani Nu has developed a habit of changing up the seasonal drink rather than bringing back the exact same recipe every year.

In 2024, Winter Wonderland was a spiced cranberry flavor, while the 2025 version was described as having notes of frosted sugar plums and cranberry. Sporked gave the 2025 version an 8 out of 10, noting that cranberry was the dominant flavor.

Now, Alani Nu is going in a much more dessert-like direction with sugar cookie.

The standard Alani Nu energy drink comes in a 12-ounce can and contains 200 milligrams of caffeine. The company’s current seasonal offerings are also typically sugar-free, although shoppers should check the nutrition label on the new Winter Wonderland when they get their hands on it.

Early reactions to the new flavor have already been mixed. Some commenters on Snackolator’s post said they were excited to try it, while others said they preferred the previous cranberry version.
